GOING STRONG Since 2015

Chef Eric and his family bring you the true "German-Texan" Experience on a food truck!  Serving up delicious German Bratwurst, Texas Style, topped with Spicy Brown German Mustard and House crafted Sauer Kraut, Currywurst, and Schnitzel Sandwiches.

Our Catering offerings include Schnitzel Plates, Spaetzle, German Red Cabbage, Dill Cucumber Salad, German Potato Salad and German Pan fried Potato.  There are many other German dishes we are able to prepare for your special catered event.

We started our family business in 2015 in the town of Sugar Land, Tx, just southwest of Houston.  For over 10 years we operated all over the Houston Metro area, all year round.  We were most popular at the various Craft Breweries and various festivals around town, including the Tomball German Festival, where you may still catch us twice a year.

We do also make the very best Hamburgers around and have served many to teachers thanks to the amazing PTO's that contracted us to serve!

Chef Eric was born in Wiesbaden, Germany to a German Mother and a Texan Father.  He grew up in Kaiserslautern, Germany and after moving to the US in 1982 has been back every year or two to spend time with friends and family.  There was an Imbiss in his hometown of Wiesbaden, Walters Futterkrippe, that inspired the mobile menu and many of the recipes came from cooking alongside his mother or uncle Juergen.

Yes...Chef speaks German, so go right ahead and engage in conversation when he's not standing over the grill.

Nearly three years ago, Eric decided to close his restaurant in Richmond, TX, pack up the Food Truck and head to the Texas Hill Country.  Very familiar with New Braunfels and San Marcos from his teens and 20's living in North San Antonio attending high school and college, it just seemed like the next step.

Eric and his team have been serving up German fare and Burgers weekly for lunch in the Quad at TXST University.  It has been an amazing experience, and we expect to continue Fall 2026.

We mostly keep to catering events, festivals and Texas State Campus, but will often commit to selling to the public with a minimum guarantee.

We hope to see you soon!
